In a galaxy far, far away, Aaron’s best man played volleyball on Nohemi’s team. They all went for drinks after the game, and Nohemi and Aaron started talking and couldn’t stop all night. They kept talking until their first date, when they fell in love! The rest – as they say – is history.
Dreaming about a destination wedding as special as their love for each other, they picked Mexico’s romantic Riviera Maya to fit the bill. The Blue Venado Resort, on it’s famous shores, is one of those rare places where time seems to slow down, and love feels even more magical. For Nohemi and Aaron, it was the perfect setting to say “I do” – and what a day it was!
The air was electric from the moment we arrived. Nohemi and her bridesmaids had their hair and makeup done as they got ready, laughter filling the room. Nohemi’s gorgeous gown was detailed with delicate lace accents, and had an elegant sweeping train, and a filmy veil that caught the breeze.
Aaron and his groomsmen heckled each other in camaraderie, as they sipped beverages and got dressed for his Big Day. His Mom walked him in, where he waited with anticipation to see his beautiful bride. The adorable flower girl and ring bearer make their entrance, regaling the guests with cuteness overload. At last Nohemi walked in on the arm of her Dad as everyone stood. Aaron promised to cherish his little girl for the rest of her life, as he took her hand from her Dad.
Their ceremony took place on the pristine beach with swaying palms, under a rustic reed circle adorned with tropical flowers, overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Sparkling sunlight danced on the waves while they exchanged forever vows, enfolded in the love and support of their closest friends and family. It was emotional, intimate, and deeply personal – the kind of wedding that leaves everyone misty and deeply moved.
As the sun dipped low, painting the sky with golden and pink hues, a delicious reception followed under a thatched roof decorated with hanging floral chains and twinkling string lights, crystal chandalier globes, and a disco ball showering highlights over everyone. Nohemi and Aaron rocked their first dance together before dancing with their parents. The party that followed? Pure magic. Hilarious speeches, a packed dance floor, and beverages flowing… it was a night no one will forget.
This wedding was a reminder of why I love what I do – capturing not just the events of the day, but the emotions, the connections, and the story that unfolds between two people in love.
