They appreciate the art of what a fantastic photographer can bring to their wedding day and it is one of the most important things they are looking for! They want to have fun… and simply a fantastic, let’s try anything attitude to the wedding day. They are looking for unusual and “out of the box” photography and want a photographer who isn’t afraid to get wet and get a little crazy with them to capture a once in a life time image! Ideal clients want to let loose and celebrate, are outgoing and love to shine! They want candid moments from getting ready to fine art & editorial newlywed images. Also, thos dancing images that come in the middle of a party in a sweaty celebration that can only happen here on a hot summer night in the Mexican Mayan Riviera. Those are our “Ideal clients” They are the ones that share a passion for photography, looking for something special on their wedding day and trust us to capture it for them!

How long do I need for each part of the day?

Here is a quick run down of each part of the day. 1 hr – 1.30 hr getting ready 30 – 45 minutes first look 30 minutes symbolic ceremony 30 minutes groups and family formals 45 minutes – 1 hr bridal party – newlywed session 1 hr dinner – speeches 1 hr party time To cover the most important parts of your day we recommend minimum 6 hrs coverage. I can’t decide how much coverage I need for my wedding day. The amount of coverage you’ll want will depend on the schedule of your day, as well, what you would like captured. It is best to get our services reserved first (with a deposit) for your wedding day so we don’t take any other bookings. Simply choose the minimum hours you think you will need and we can adjust the package as needed

Do I have to buy a meal for you at the reception?

Yes, please. With 6 + hours of coverage we request a meal for each team member. It doesn’t have to be the wedding meal; some venues offer a vendor’s meal.

What time should I have my ceremony in order to allow enough time for pictures before the sun sets?

The most ideal time is to have your ceremony 2 hrs before the sun sets. Here in the Mayan Riviera, once the sun starts to set, it happens very quickly! Do you “touch up” my wedding photos?

All your images go through multiple passes before they are sent to you! We first choose the best images for your package. Then we start to expose each picture for the correct lighting and color balance. Another pass is made to apply any effects such as Black/White or Mayan Riviera Photography effects that you have seen in our images making them magazine quality! Your pictures are processed again to correct skin tone and remove minor blemishes and lines. The last pass is done to remove unwanted objects and minor Photoshoping to perfect each and every image. YES… your wedding photos are touched up! Each and every one!!!

Are there any policies or restrictions for bringing an outside photographer to my Mayan Riviera Resort?

Each resort has different rules regarding wedding photographers. Most resorts in the Mayan Riviera have implemented a special rate that they charge to allow photographers & videographers on their premises. This fee can range from $200 to $2000 USD. It is commonly referred to as a “External Vendor Fee”. Please check with your wedding coordinator to find out what their requirements are for outside photographers. You can avoid this vendor fee in most of hotels of the Mayan Riviera if we stay at the hotel as guests. Our package prices do not include the cost for us to enter your resort. This is an added expense that is out of our control.

How long does it take to process our wedding package? When can we expect to receive it?

We promise to deliver your package between 8 -12 weeks after your wedding day. However, I will prepare some teasers for you right away so it is easier to wait for the full package.

Will we have the right to our photos?

You and your family will have the full printing rights for all your photos. This means that technically I own the photos, but you are encouraged to print and post all your photos to your heart’s desires!

Do you deliver RAW photos?

Nope. They’re unfinished work! When you book with me, you’re hiring me for your finished product, all of your hand-edited images with my style incorporated into them. Raw files are also not usually able to be opened unless you have special photography programs, so there’s not much you’d be able to do with them, anyway.

Do packages include taxes?

Yes. Value Added Tax ($16 % VAT) is included in the prices. All extra commissions for transfer or payments are not included in the prices.

Do you carry back up gear?

Yes! We always have back-up cameras, lenses, flashes and tons of batteries/SD cards. We will never risk the possibility of being left without equipment.

Can we request specific shoots that we want for the wedding day?

Yes, of course. I will provide you with a planning form where you can specify all the shots you’re wanting.

What happens if we cancel your services or cancel/reschedule the wedding?

If you request to cancel our services, your retainer will not be refunded after the 2 months guarantee as we most likely will have turned down other couples for your wedding date since you’ve been booked. If you reschedule your wedding your retainer will be applied to the new date if we are available with an ap[lied $100 usd rescheduling fee.

Do packages include travel expenses?

Prices include travel expenses in all the riviera Maya. For weddings in the islands (Holbox, Cozumel, Isla Mujeres) or outside the Riviera Maya a Fee may apply. We offer special packages for Destination weddings. Please contact us for a quote.

Everything sounds good! How do we book?

To reserve the wedding date for you we will sing a contract and we ask for a $500 usd deposit. All deposits are 100% guarantee satisfaction. If you change your mind before 60 days following your booking just let us know and we will refund your deposit 100%! The $500 usd deposit is the most important factor in reserving your date with MRP photography before it is lost or reserved by another couple so feel free to book your date with us worry free. You can choose your package later if you are planning super head of time so you don’t have to worry about that. Just shoot me an email or text saying you are ready!
