Shanna and Nazeem’s destination wedding in Cancun was nothing short of extraordinary. A colorful, culture-rich Hindu wedding full of emotion, vibrant tradition, and oceanfront elegance was followed by a wild and wonderful Trash the Dress session that perfectly captured their bold personalities and deep connection.

🌺 Traditional Hindu Ceremony on the Caribbean Coast

The multi-day wedding celebration was an explosion of color, joy, and tradition. They celebrated their first nuptials in the Hindu tradition, then went on to a regular Western style on the next day.

From the moment Nazeem arrived in his Baraat procession, the celebration was alive with rhythm and excitement. Shanna was an absolute vision in her richly adorned bridal attire, glowing with beauty and happiness.

Set against the turquoise ocean and tropical greenery, the mandap ceremony blended traditional customs with the breathtaking backdrop of Cancun’s beaches. Friends and family surrounded the couple with blessings and love as they exchanged sacred vows under the sun.

Terrific Trash The Dress Session

A few days later, Shanna and Nazeem visited an ancient cenote secluded in the jungle β€” for some fearless and refreshing fun in a Trash the Dress session. Smoldering embraces, playful splashes in the cool water, and carefree laughter turned their wedding attire into a canvas for romance and spontaneity.

These portraits tell a different part of their love story β€” carefree, passionate and totally them. Limestone rock lined the walls of the cenote and its pool of crystal-clear water. Streaming in from above, dancing sunbeams filtered through the smoke of sacred incense β€” and were the perfect co-stars for this amazing photo shoot.
