I recently had the incredible honor of photographing Kathy and Jeff’s beautiful Vows Renewal and Trash the Dress session at Xpu Ha Beach. After years of marriage, they chose this stunning location to celebrate their love by renewing their vows, confirming they’d chosen the right partner to marry, and would do it all over again! And what a perfect place to do it!

The day began with an intimate vows renewal ceremony on the soft white sands of Xpu Ha. With the sound of waves gently crashing in the background, Kathy and Jeff exchanged heartfelt promises to one another, surrounded by Mother Nature’s incomparable beauty. It was a deeply emotional moment, filled with laughter, happy tears, and a sense of renewal in their journey together.

After the ceremony, we transitioned into the Trash the Dress session. Kathy looked stunning in her gown, and she was more than ready to dive into the fun! We took full advantage of the vibrant scenery, playing with the gentle waves, sandy shores, and tropical backdrop. The crystal clear water of the cenote was breathtaking—Kathy and Jeff embraced every moment, creating memories that were not only fun but incredibly symbolic of their carefree and strong relationship.

Xpu Ha, with its gorgeous beach and crystal clear cenote, created an ethereal vibe, which was the perfect setting for both the sentimental vows renewal and the spontaneous setting for a “fairy-tale” Trash the Dress session. Every unique shot captured the romance of their deep connection and commitment to keep their love fresh and exciting – going forward into their future together.
