Megan & Hany wanted to celebrate the beginning of their family when their beautiful baby arrived in an extra special way. They chose to invest in a family session at the breathtaking Azul Beach Resort Riviera Cancun – filled with sunshine, laughter, and love. This beautiful tropical setting created the perfect backdrop for timeless images, commemorating this milestone in their family journey.
The moment we started, the energy was pure joy. Azul Fives offers a unique blend of vibrant gardens, soft white sand, and turquoise ocean views—making it an ideal location for relaxed and playful sessions. Megan and Hany’s family embraced every moment, turning the shoot into a true celebration of togetherness.
We began in the colorful urban streets of Playa del Carmen, bustling with local Mexican charm. The young family strolled along, taking in the views and stopping by some local stands to try on the huge sombreros. They swung on a bar swing together, making their baby laugh, and then held her hands while she took some wobbly steps on the street. Their extended family stepped in to look after the baby, so we could take them for a romantic couples session nearby.
We finished the session with everyone coming back together for some group family photos on the beach. It was fun to capture the whole family throwing up their arms and jumping for joy under the iconic Playa del Carmen mermaid statue. We also got some great shots of Megan & Hany tossing their laughing daughter up into the air, silhouetted against the sky under the statue.
It was such a joy to record the authentic love and connection of this happy family!
