There’s something truly remarkable about romantic destination weddings, and Amy and Shaun’s special day at the Riu Yucatan proved that point. Set against the stunning tropical backdrop of the Riviera Maya, their celebration was a perfect blend of love, joy, and paradise vibes.

From the moment Amy walked down the grassy aisle, the gentle breeze wafting tropical fragrance around them, to Shaun’s beaming smile as he saw her for the first time, every moment felt straight out of a dream. The couple’s emotional vows, shared under a white pergola, elaborately decorated with floral arrangements and billowing curtains, left “not a dry eye in the house”.

We captured breathtaking images at their newlywed photo session around the hotel, in the jungle and at the beach. Their spontaneity shone through my lens, in the images showcasing their FUN photogenic personalities.

From the golden-hour portraits on the beach, to the energetic dance floor, Amy and Shaun’s wedding was a beautiful celebration of love in paradise. What an honor and privilege to have their trust to record this once-in-a-lifetime celebration, where there are no “do-overs”.
